Ingredients

  • 1 white cake mix
  • 1 cup strawberries pureed
  • 1 package strawberry Jello 3oz
  • 4 eggs separated
  • 1⁄2 cup oil
  • 1⁄4 cup milk

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees & prepare pans by greasing, lining with parchment, and lightly flouring.

Prepare strawberries by washing, trimming, and pureeing in blender.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cake mix and strawberry jello. Add in egg yolks, oil, milk, and pureed strawberries and stir until combined.

In a separate mixing bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.

Gently fold the egg whites into the cake batter.

Pour the batter into your prepared pans and bake at 350 degrees for the indicated bake time on the mix or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.

Let cakes cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and let cool completely.

Frost with Strawberry Buttercream Icing & enjoy!
